This is quite a nice volume, exploring NewEngland through the lens of the Transcendalists of the 19th century. It is nice to get a physcial context and geography that this group of people worked in. ( )

This is a brief but useful collage of photographs, maps, and pictures. It moves back and forth in time with ease and provides recent photographs of the Transcendentalists homes and haunts. ( )
