Resolved, That the R. W. Grand Secretary be authorized to have reprinted 800 copies pf the past proceedings of this Grand Lodge, providing the fraternity of this jurisdiction shall subscribe for 300 copies of the same, at an advance of fifty cents per copy upon actual cost. The price per copy not to exceed two dollars; 300 copies to be retained in Library of the Grand, for future use.

MASONIC CONVENTION

TO ORGANIZE

THE GRAND LODGE

OF THE

TERRITORY OF COLORADO,

HELD IN GOLDEN CITY, AUGUST 2, A. L., 5861.

GOLDEN CITY, C. T., August 2, 1861.

In accordance with the previous agreement, and appointment of the Masters and Wardens of the several of Free and Accepted Masons, of the Territory of Colorado, viz Golden City, of Golden City; Summit No. 7, of Parkville; Rocky Mountain No. 8, of Gold Hill; a Convention was held this day for the purpose of organizing a Grand for the Territory of Colorado.

On motion, Bro. Eli Carter, of Golden City, was called to preside, and

Bro. O. A. Whittemore, of Summit, was chosen Secretary.

On motion, it was

Resolved, That a committee of three be appointed to report to the Convention what action is necessary to carry out the design of this Convention, namely, the formation of a Grand for the Territory of Colorado. Bros. C. F. Holly, of Rocky Mountain, S. M. Robbins, of Summit –, I. E. Hardy, of Golden City, were appointed said committee, who made the following
