Weeks, a native of southern California, is a covert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In the Church Brother Weeks has served in numerous positions, including having served two years as a missionary to Oklahoma. He also writes poetry, and in 1998 he was a semifinalist in a national poetry competition. He is currently a student of journalism at a popular university.
