Section I.

HERE are two holy Ordinances or Sacraments, appointed by Jefus Chrift, as most efpecial means of obtaining grace and falvation: which no Chriftian, who hopes to be faved, muft wilfully neglect. These are, BAPTISM and the LORD'S SUPPER.

It must be fuppofed that you have already been made partaker of one of these two Sacraments; viz. That of BAPTISM, by which you were admitted into the congregation of Chrift's flock,-were reftored to the favour of God, and had the Holy Spirit communicated
