Again in that each of them is the fame One God. Phil. 2. 6. 1 Cor. 2. 10, 1. The Holy Ghoft being the Spirit of God, and fo truly God, is equal with God in knowing all things. And by the fame reafon he is equal with God in all other refpects. He that is God, must be equal with God, being one and the fame God.

There is this difference, that the Father is of none, not begotten, nor proceeding: the Son is of the Father alone, begotten, not proceeding: the Holy Ghoft is of the Father, and of the Son, not begotten, but proceeding. 1

The meaning therefore of without any difference or inequa lity, is that each of the Holy Perfons is the fame One perfect God, and not greater or less than the other.

As it was the Manhood of Chrift that Died: fo his Manhood was given to Die for us by the Father, (1 John 4. 10) and by the Son, (1 John 3. 16) and by the Holy Ghoft. Matth. 1. All the Three Holy Perfons were the Maker, and Preferver, and Difpofer of the Manhood of the Son. r I believe, and give thanks according to this Thanksgiving. A's before the Giving thanks, which is the first thing of this holy Feaft, we do earnestly humble our felves with confeffing our fins and evil deferts: fo before the fecond thing, which is the Bleffing the holy Signs with Chrift's Word, that is, fhewing how they are taken according to his Words; we do alfo earnestly humble our felves, by con-4, 5.
